Been Bad, written by Sarah Zwieghaft, is a play exploring the mental decline of the protagonist, Susan. Tasked with directing the second act (with the playwright directing the first), I utilized surrealism and elements of absurdism to portray the inner world of Susan's psyche in distress. I also explored stripped-back realism in simpler scenes focused on minor characters. Produced through the Performing Arts Company at SUNY Fredonia, this was my second collaborative experience with Zwieghaft.
